The forced experience of<br \/>\ndisplacement leaves clear psychological scars. Anxiety is high. Feelings of insecurity are prevalent. The loss of daily<br \/>\nroutines affects psychological well-being. PSS sessions provide a safe space. They allow for expression. They help in<br \/>\nunderstanding emotions. They restore a sense of control over one&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The importance of psychosocial support sessions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Psychosocial support for Syrian refugees is human-centered. It considers individual experiences, addresses the effects<br \/>\nof trauma, and promotes psychological stability. These sessions help regulate emotions, reduce stress, improve<br \/>\ndecision-making abilities, and enhance self-worth. Having PSS sessions within the community rebuilds<br \/>\ntrust\u2014self-confidence and trust in others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Psychological and social benefits\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">PSS sessions have a direct impact on the mental health of refugees.
